Underground Storage Tanks (UST)
We have sampled, removed or closed in-place thousands of commercial and home heating oil tanks. We advise our clients on the most cost effective and expediate methods to deal with USTs, based on their individual situation and the current regulatory framework.
Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
Our team has been providing ESAs to the Northwest Piedmont for over 30 years. Whether its a Phase I ESA as part of due diligence for purchase of a property or a Phase II ESA to sample for suspected contaminants we have the experience and equipment to get the job done.
Drilling Services
We operate a GeoProbe 66DT, track-mounted drill rig that is capable of both auger drilling and direct-push probing. We can perform soil sampling, geotechnical borings with SPT data or install shallow groundwater monitoring wells. It is a compact drill rig that gives us access to tight spaces, including inside buildings.
Emergence Response Services
GeoSci provides emergency response services to respond the truck wrecks and other spill scenarios to direct remediation and take samples to verify clean-up efforts. We provide full reporting to the NC Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Waste Management Division to satisfy our clients regulatory requirements.
