Business Description:

Established in 2003, Lifeways is a South Dakota 501c3. We are the only addiction counselors with offices in the Rapid City Area Schools. There are eight counselors working in all three high schools and two middle schools. We partner with the State, Schools and City to PIC students over addiction by providing evidence based prevention, intervention and connection.

School based Universal prevention in the classroom and evidence based curriculum in the classroom and group setting<br />Community based Awareness Campaigns, town hall meetings and other educational conferences
Early Intervention
Intensive intervention education programming - three levels:<br />Middle School and two levels of High School Intervention Programming<br />Brief Intervention Screenings for referrals to appropriate level of care
Intensive Outpatient Treatment and Counseling
Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program, recovery support groups and individual counseling, and evidence based Trauma Counseling Program for youth.
Parent Education and Support
Educational sessions with all parents involved in early intervention and outpatient treatment.<br /><br />
